Patriot Guard Riders of Michigan

On September 11, 2001, Flight 93 left Newark Liberty International Airport bound for San Francisco. When terrorists hijacked the plane, the 40 passengers and crew fought back, forcing it down in a remote field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Today, the Flight 93 National Memorial is taking shape in that field — 2,200 pastoral acres that have become sacred ground. The Families of Flight 93, whose loved ones made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, support the creation of the Memorial. Due for dedication on the 10th anniversary of 9/11/01, the first phase of its construction requires $30 million in public donations.

Ride With the 40 is the ultimate grassroots movement: Ten days on the open road to raise funds for the Memorial,
a permanent tribute to the 40 Heroes.

Looks like they only want 4 to 6 bikes to come in. Talked to Megs and there is room to park where she works. It's about a half mile from where we will come out.

7777 Meriman Rd. It is the first drive past McD's on the right side as you are going North on Merriman. IF coming South from 94 it will be the first drive before McD's on your left. l will be there at 11 to meet who shows up. And pick the others to go in. Will call the group to meet us at Merriman and Goddard when we come out. The Police will block the road for us to get out. l will let them know that we have other bikes to join in. Talk to Funeral Home...State police will escort us to Onsted where Township Police will take over.

Funeral home will be there around 11:30 AM. ... So plenty of time to set up. l hope!!

FORT CARSON, Colo. (USASOC News Service, Aug. 27, 2010) – A Special Forces Soldier assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) died of natural causes Aug. 25 at Walter Reed Medical Center, Washington, D.C.

Staff Sgt. Lee Conrad Przytulski, assigned to 1st Battalion, 10th SFG (A), in Stuttgart, Germany, died from complications following routine surgery.

His awards and decorations include the Air Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, Army Good Conduct Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Special Forces Tab, Naval Aircrew Insignia and Parachutist Badge.

Przytulski, 29, a native of Adrian, Mich., is survived by his wife Diana and his two children, Noah and Olivia.

Bob was born December 9, 1952 to Robert L and Berneice(Howard) Haley, Sr.
He married Barbara (Roussey) Herman on September 6, 2008 in Bronson.
Bob graduated from Union City High School in 1971 and served in the Army for 8 years, during the Vietnam War. He worked at Griswald's in Union City for 18 years and most recently for Bronson Precision Products. Mr. Haley also served 12 years in the Air National Guard in Battle Creek. He was a lifetime member of the Bronson American Legion, where he was part of the drill team for many years. Bob enjoyed bowling with the Bronson Bowling League and had formerly served as a board member on the Bronson Bowling Assoc.. He loved spending time outdoors by camping and enjoyed his Motorcycle and tinkering with cars.
Bob is survived by his wife Barbara, his mother Berneice Teachout of Union City, sons Robert U.(Angela) Haley of Honolulu, HI, Benjamin L. (Julie) Herman of Lexington, KY,daughter Gloria (Michael) Taylor of Linden, brother Bill (Diane) Haley of Sherwood, sister Lorraine (Garth) Kincaid of Sherwood, step-mother Sally Haley of Battle Creek, seven grandchildren, Zoe and Travis Haley of Honolulu, HI, Alyssa and Zachary Taylor of Linden, Zachary Lantz, Owyn and Aidan Spahr of Lexington, KY.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Haley, Sr. in 2007
Officiating with Rev. Robert Taylor from St. Andrews Presbyterian church
Military Honors will be presented by the Bronson American Legion

777th MP Detachment (Internment & Resettlement Information Center)

The 777th MP Det (IR/IC) was activated in October 2007 making it the first organization of its kind in the Michigan Army National Guard. This specialty unit is one of only 10 in the entire Army Force Structure which includes Active Duty, the Army Reserves, and the Army National Guard.

The mission of the 777th MP Det (IR/IC) is to function as a U.S. Central Agency in each theatre of war for the receipt, processing, maintenance, dissemination, and transmittal of required information, and data relating to EPW/CI, American Prisoners of War, and Dislocated Civilians within their assigned theatre.

Taking the responsibilities of all detainees in Theatre Internment Facilities throughout Iraq. Additional tasks will involve assisting in the transition of authority and responsibility of detention facilities to the Iraqi Government.
